How long have you been with Good Feet?

It will be two years in June.

What difference has Good Feet had on your life?

It has made a huge difference on my life. My life has improved in multiple ways. Working for Good Feet has helped me be able to provide for my family, and I’ve found the relief I’ve needed for my plantar fasciitis by wearing the arch supports. It’s also allowing me to change people’s lives two feet at a time.

Favorite Good Feet story?

All my clients are special to me, but one story stands out from when I first started the job. A little boy, about eight years old, wasn’t able to play sports because of the pain he was experiencing in his feet. Those complaints brought him into Good Feet, but he was able to run around the entire store pain free as soon as he put his first pair of supports in his shoes. After watching that happen, I knew that The Good Feet Store was a great place to be working.

What are some of the challenges you face on the job?

Many people come into the store and are sad or mad because they’ve been hurting so long and are not happy with the life they currently have, and they bring in that sadness with them. It can be challenging to turn around their day and change the way they are feeling in the hopes of ultimately changing their lives.

What are some of your hobbies?

I love Zumba. If you invite me to go out to eat or go to Zumba, I don’t care If I’m starving, I’ll choose Zumba. Dance in general is a hobby. I had to stop going to Zumba when my feet were hurting, but I was able to get back to Zumba when I got my Good Feet arch supports. It’s the best.

Favorite place to visit?

California to visit my family. I’m the only family member who lives in Oregon, and my favorite place to be is where my parents are — California. I’m also planning a trip to Mexico, the country where I was born. Hopefully that will happen this year. It has been twelve years since I last visited.

What inspires/excites you?

Being able to change people’s lives. Watching people receive the help they need and having them give me a hug, because I was able to help them.

When they come back after 30 days for their checkup and are still feeling great and happy. I am inspired by their happiness.

Anything else we should know about you?

I’m happy to be here and thankful that this company really cares for me, my family, and all of our clients. I’m really happy to be a part of this team. Every day is different, and I’m changing lives every day. I’d always rather be in the store, because I know there are people who need my help.
