On your mark, get set, go! This Friday and Saturday, our esteemed Director of Sales and Operations Kristina will be running the Ragnar in Washington. The 200 mile relay is no small feat, but just like she’s always ready to take on a challenge at work, she’s ready to take on this race!
This will be her first relay, and her first race of this distance. She and her husband are competing with a team of 10 others. In her first leg, she’ll run eight and a half miles. Then six and a half miles, then three and a half. Whew!
The course runs from the town of Blaine, Washington to Langley, Washington. Runners race throughout the day and night and tag-team each other after each leg of the race. Participants sleep in a van that travels along the course carrying the rest of the team, supplies, and snacks. This feeling of community is central to the Ragnar philosophy as well as the Good Feet family.
Kristina’s been building up training slowly, and after a 10k two weekends before the race, she said she feels more confident about the Ragnar. She trains with her Good Feet Flex supports and will wear them during the race, too. She says the supports have improved her athletic performance, and she considers them a must even when she’s not training or racing.
Go Kristina! Good Feet is rooting for you!
