(Eugene, OR)
Saturday, February 18th
10am – 4pm

Join us for Free Foot Check Day on Saturday, February 18th at The Good Feet Store in Eugene, OR.
Did you know the average person logs over 100,000 foot miles in a lifetime? That’s four times the distance around the earth! Periodically pausing along the way to have your feet evaluated is essential to maintaining healthy and happy feet and a comfortable and satisfying life.
Free foot checks are 15-minute appointments in which a visiting healthcare professional evaluates your general foot function and possible effects on ankles, knees, hips or back.
Afterwards, participants are welcome to experience a free personalized fitting for Good Feet premium arch supports.
Appointments are all booked, but walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event on a first come, first served basis.
Meet the visiting Healthcare Provider:

Keith Blackwell, MHS, PT, Dip. MDT
Keith Blackwell has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics since graduating from Old Dominion University’s physical therapy program in Norfolk, Virginia in 1988. Looking for new perspectives and training while continuing to work full time, he pursued a Masters in Health Science in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from the University of Indianapolis, which he completed in 1999. He specializes in manual therapy, and has pursued extensive training in various hands-on evaluation and treatment techniques. One of these approaches, the McKenzie Approach stimulated his interest in empowering the patient to have tools to aid in their own recovery. This led to in-depth training in this treatment paradigm. Currently, Keith is one of only six McKenzie diplomats in Oregon. In addition to more traditional therapies, Keith also provides spinal manipulation to appropriate patients. Manipulation is typically provided as a part of the physical therapy program which includes exercise, and education to empower the patient toward improved self-care.
He also has a special interest in yoga therapy and has taught yoga in the community, as well as teaching in a yoga teacher-training program. When not at work, he is an active member in the music community. He co-founded the Eugene UKEtoberfest, a yearly ukulele festival showcasing ukulele performers from around the world.
